The Capital City Baseball Association board of directors have voted to join Little League Baseball International beginning with the 2016 season.  Becoming a Little League affiliated league with allow CCBA athletes the opportunity to compete in Little League tournaments and a chance to qualify for the Little League World Series.  In addition to the player’s opportunities, becoming a Little League affiliate will offer the board, parents, coaches, and players a number of resources online to enhance the baseball experience.  The CCBA board of directors strives to make the summer baseball experience rewarding and enjoyable for all kids and parents.

In preparation for joining Little League, CCBA has made adjustments to the age limits of two of our divisions.  Pee Wee Division (machine pitched) will be open to all children born in 2007 or 2008.  Minors baseball (player pitched) will be open to kids born 5/1/04 thru 12/31/06.  Kids born between 5/1/06 and 12/31/06 will have the option of playing in either Pee Wees or Minors.  For more information please email Eric Booth at ebooth8696@pie.midco.net
